Durham Driveways arrived on time as expected. The job involved excavating and replacing a broken/ blocked drain 6M in length. The job was satisfactorily completed within half a day and the site left in a tidy condition with all unwanted materials removed from site.

Plumber was unable to remove bath facia to fit new taps, he did manage to solve the problem by fitting part of a new set of taps. The facia was damaged, it has been removed and is being repainted.

Geoff turned up on time, well presented van, well prepared, and got on with the tasks quickly. The work was varied, and he tackled all intelligently and diligently, completing more than I had hoped in the one day. Since then he has been back for two more days, and although I haven't been on site to check, again seems to have completed more than I had hoped. In short: Reliable, fairly priced, well prepared and able to tackle a wide range of tasks efficiently and appropriately.

After completing the work I requested a receipt for the cash and was told it would be in the post and he couldn't sign one now. Still no receipt or contact after almost 4 weeks. A follow up was promised with extra things they could attach to the windows to prevent whistling and to confirm work was satisfactory, they never returned. Good start disappointing finish.
Experienced gardener/landscaper. Qualified in using chainsaw and spraying. I have my own petrol chainsaw, trimmer, strummer, and lawnmower (all stihl). I have my own 8 x 4 trailer so can take any garden materials away. Very competitive on price.

A reasonable quote was given very quickly for a fencing job. The chap I spoke to on the phone beforehand and met on the day of the job (Simon) was polite, knowledgeable and pragmatic. He and a colleague erected the 5 6x6 fence panels and posts without fuss and to a high standard, despite some difficulties inherent in the job. Would definitely recommend and would use again.

I found Richell Construction very reliable in that they turned up on time and worked efficiently completing the rebuild of the garden wall in good time. This was despite very adverse weather conditions which caused several pauses in the process to avoid the risk of frost affecting the work.The brickwork appears to be of a very high standard.
