I had a good, written quotation, to which they kept and which was not at all unreasonable. They will be given first refusal on any future roofing job I may have (which is not unlikely in my old house).

An excellent tiler. They came early and worked hard throughout the day. Fixed everything and left the bathroom looking clean and tidy. They fitted the bathroom floor with ceramic tiles and finished the work to a high standard.They also took care of the wash basin, in terms of screwing it on the wall and using sealants to cover any gap to prevent water seepage. As for the bath tab, old sealants were successfully removed and cleaned before applying new ones. The work was completed on time. Regards Sofi

If I could give 10 stars for each category I would! I cannot say how happy I am with the finished job and with the clean and tidy way in which it was conducted. Patrick is obviously highly skilled and he works very hard. That said, nothing is too much trouble for this young man, and it's clear that his customer's satisfaction is paramount. Mike contacted me very quickly after posting the advert, and came out the following day to quote. I have just bought a property and needed work doing immediately and even though mike had another job on, he found the time to start on mine. I'm very impressed with the job mike and his team have done, I now have 3 new ceilings and 2 plastered walls, plus some extra work he's done and it means I am now able to move in! I was really pleased with their initial work, landscape design and quoting. The agreed a period to come and do the work, then rushed to complete the work in a shorter period (I expect due to another job). After the had completed (and paid for) we began to notice issues - particularly in relation to wobbling patio stones and pot holes in the lawn. We contacted them on a number of occasions and they stated that they would come and relay the patio stones but they never did.

After all the storms we found our lead flashing was weak and as a result water came in to the property. We contacted Duncan Hood via Rated People. He turned up when he said he would, he did a temporary fix which we paid a £50 call out fee for (which he later deducted off the final bill) - he came back within a week and fixed the leading to a very high spec. Duncan is reliable, punctual, polite, and good value for money. I would have no hesitation in recommending him. A great job and a nice bloke.
