Phil is an excellent tradesman - we had him replace some skirting boards, door frames and picture rails in 2 rooms. He was very reliable, reasonably priced and worked to our budget, his craftsmanship was very good, he was a quick (and tidy) worker, and he gave us plenty of extra advice and tips for other rooms. Additionally, he went out of his way to help us arrange getting some door restored by one of his contacts. Would thoroughly recommend and have saved his details for use in the future! Thanks Phil!

I would have no hesitation in recommending Jeff Payne of South West Stone to anyone. Mr Payne was punctual. Mr Payne was a pleasure to have working at my home. The bonus was that he thoroughly cleaned up any mess he made which was indeed minimal! Nothing was too much trouble and he was extremely helpful. The work done appears to be all I wanted. Overall I am very pleased.

I never said I had rubbed down the stairs myself. Why would I when I paid you to do it? What I said was I had previously rubbed down and decorated staicases years ago at my previous homes. My stairs had pimer undercoat and TWO top coats as recorded in my diary! Pictures unfortunately cannot show how rough the wood is or show what looks like grains of sand embedded in the painted handrail. I've had 2 further opinions of your work and they both say they've never seen such a bad finish by a 'professional'.

Barry Morris our tradesman encountered problems caused by our equipment but kept going until all was sorted taking much longer than expected. Barry always left us confident that he would sort everything and he did. He was punctual and had a lovely sense of humour too. He contacted us a week later to check that all was well and it was. I would not hesitate in recommending him or using him again should the need arise.
