We needed an old gas fire to be made safe so that it can be removed from our property. Within just a couple of days of posting the request for help, George had sealed off the gas supply (and also helpfully disconnected the fire itself) all for a reasonable price. Very happy with the service provided.

David turned up at time we arranged, Quality of work was excellent. We requested a certain methods he had not done before so researched it and did a fantastic job. Phil is an excellent tradesman - we had him replace some skirting boards, door frames and picture rails in 2 rooms. He was very reliable, reasonably priced and worked to our budget, his craftsmanship was very good, he was a quick (and tidy) worker, and he gave us plenty of extra advice and tips for other rooms. The supervisor of this company is a pleasant person to converse with. She explained that she does the initial contact and assess the jobs. She then uses one or more strong young chaps to do the actual work. She failed to ascertain that there wasn't a back yard tap. She seemed more interested in maintaining the garden, suggesting that this would need to be done approx every 2-3 weeks. We feel this company is not appropriate for this particular job..We will be using another Rated People Company.
