- I spoke to all the other people in my apartment block, and one even said they were very close to calling the police as he was incredibly loud, shouting, and being very unprofessional. - When he left he said he's going to stop my water supply (which is illegal).

    - He went to Screwfix twice, and said he'd been working on my job for hours, eventhough he spent some time inspecting, and time at Screwfix. I understand going once, and getting everything you need in one go, but then going twice (and nearly a third time) and blaming me for it was ridiculous. It's like he was allowed to make as many mistakes as he wanted, and I would have to pay for it. And if I didn't pay for it, then I was being unreasonable.

    - He only seemed to see things from his perspective. I understand jobs can be difficult, but if it's not something you can do for what was agreed multiple times at different points in the process, then don't agree to do it, as I could have went elsewhere. It's not fair to agree, until the very end, when you decide to spring a new price on a customer. I even tried to compromise and meet in the middle between our agreed price, and his new price. He did not like that at all.

    - He didn't even like that I paid more than what was agreed in the end! People like Andrew aren't looking for resolutions, they're just looking to complain and be heard. I listened to his point of view (hence why I tried to compromise), but he flat out refused to listen to me, shouting thing like "f-ck off, I don't want to hear it!"

    - He acted as though he was honourable, giving lectures and passing comments about how he would pay loads of money if someone spent hours on a job, just as a thank you. However, when I paid him (more than what we originally agreed), and as soon as that money hit his account he got very aggressive and nasty - swearing, name-calling (calling me. "c-nt", "d-ckhead", "pr-ck", "piece of sh-t"), and all sorts.

    - Sent many photos of the the pipes from different angles, with tape measurements and any obstructions like doors and tight areas to ensure he had as much information as possible. - Tripe checked by him wanting to come to the property to check to make sure he could do it for that price by inspecting everything. - Confirmed he could still do it for that price, after seeing everything in person too. - Spent a while doing the job, whilst complaining the whole time.

    Also it was impossible to see the underlying hidden issues he went against my advice and so i was there an extra three hrs for nothing so hes now bitter

    - He didn't seem to like that I was holding him accountable to what he agreed to in our messages. - Kept saying things under his breath, passive aggressive insults towards me because he was struggling to do the job. - He was going to walk out half way through unless I agreed to pay him more than the agreed amount. - He didn't come fully equipped. He had uncharged batteries for his tools that he didn't check beforehand, and seemed to take out his lack of organisation on me.

    No body is gonna believe these pack of lies yaeh i was gonnq leave and not charge as part way through I realised itv was well underquoted. I paid for parts and said you can have them not pay for a job i dI ont want work for you as it felt ;like modern day slavery. i went screwfix twice because i told the customer he only needed one stopcock later he was adament he wanted second one changed which caused all the added time and problrms just to find out that pipe led no where and was capped off behind wall.

    When I wanted paying more extra £50 for hrs more than i should of been there he was such a skin flint miser that i just said pay what you want then he stalled me for ages< it got heated but police this guy is that nasty he has to lie 273 people say otherwise this is the worst nasty person. for instance I have a brand new electric pipe cutter i've never used it I fully charged it a fewweeks ago lrft battery off. When I came to use it the battery was dead I told him I am returning this and he feels he needs

    - He had a go at me for not carrying his tools to his van. He was constantly guilt tripping saying things like "even old ladies will carry my things to my van for me". Again, not a problem, I helped him. All he had to do was ask, but he had a bad attitude. He also accused me of treating him like a "slave" and a "monkey". I'm not sure if he was trying to use the race card or what, but it was very odd.

    ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. Avoid Andrew at all costs. We agreed a price multiple times (including an in-person tech survey), yet he tried to hike the fee mid-job by threatening to walk out. He arrived with uncharged tools, made constant trips to Screwfix, and blamed ME for his lack of prep. When paid, he became aggressive—shouting, swearing, and making illegal threats to cut my water. Neighbors nearly called police due to his noise. Unprofessional, manipulative, and dangerous. CHECK THE 1-STAR REVIEWS.

    - He made various threats to try and scare me into paying, saying that "I know people who haven't paid what they were owed and so they went back and destroyed their home." When I questioned why he was attempting to indirectly threatenen me, he backed off. I'd imagine he tries it on with vulnerable people, and I think he was frustrated that he couldn't take advantage of me as much as he likely does with others.

    - I was confused because he had many 5 star reviews, but after reading his other 1 star reviews, they seemed more realistic and aligned with what I experienced, which makes me wonder. The gist of all the honest reviews from others is that he is argumentative, and shifts blame. Which is clearly apparent for all to see in the back and fourth of this review between Andrew and myself...

    - Agreed on a price beforehand as I had a strict budget. And that if he couldn't do that, then I would happily go somewhere else as I had had a few other offers. - He appeared to be cooperative and helpful in the beginning. - Assured me he could do it for that price. - Double checked to confirm both on the phone and in a message. After his confirmation, I politely declined the other quotes I received from other plumbers.

    - It's a difficult review to give as I want to be as honest as possible to warn others. To be fair, he did the job (although the building manager is insistent in coming by to inspect it just in case). So I can't really comment on the quality yet, only the conduct. If it's a good job, then I will mention that here after the inspection. - He seemed to get offended whenever questions were asked, and would just fly off the handle. Most disrespectful and unprofessional experience I have had.

    - He couldn't fit through the door so I had to take the door off. Not complaining as I did it just to be cooperative to make it easier for him. - Turns out the stopcock didn't even need to be changed in the end, but we agreed a price anyway, so of course I wanted to honour that, no problem. Also, that was not his fault at all. Yet, when he said it took longer than he wanted, he blamed me like it was my fault, and I should subsidise his lack of pre-scoping and organisation that he should have done beforehand

Plumbing Repair & Maintenance

Andrew was quick to respond to my advertised job, very clear on the phone about his costs and what would be needed to fix my kitchen sink, once I sent him a couple of pictures. He showed up on time, was super nice and explained what was going on, fixed it in no time and then talked me and my son over what to do to avoid further blockages. Ten out of ten!!
