Valley Walling called round promptly and gave a good value quote to re point and tidy and seal the top of the wall. They told me exactly when they would start and finish the job. They kept to the timing and days working to the dot. Before they left they cleaned up using my hose for the stray bits of cement. Would recommend them for all outside building work. I had 3 jobs completed by Dan and his team: 1. Trimming 15 metres of Leylandii hedge 2. Removing a large patio, laying a sub base and membrane, with gravel overlay 3. Replacing stock fencing, installing privacy fencing and a picket fence All 3 jobs were expertly completed within the timescale, and to fair agreed costs, communication was excellent, all debris taken away, and the results are brilliant. Avoid Wayne from Blackwell Roofing. He quoted £380 based on photos, then came to view the job from the ground—no proper inspection. He later climbed a ladder with no safety gear, started tearing down fascia, then suddenly claimed the job was £1,600. When I asked him to stop, he became aggressive, shouting and throwing tools and wood down dangerously. I felt threatened and unsafe in my own home. Totally unprofessional, dishonest, and intimidating. Do not hire him.
