He agreed a fixed price for fixing the toilet that evening which was half of what other plumbers have suggested and it did not matter how long it took fix the toilet. He arrived on time. It was comfortable to have him around the house with young children. There was a problem with the rubber seal as well as the original issue. He still stuck with his original charge agreed on Friday evening and only charged me extra for parts. He's very honest and I would not hesitate to call him again.

We would absolutely ask Marcus to come and help us out with our garden at any time. It was a complete wreck having had tenants in for a few years. In just a matter of four or five hours it have totally been transformed and we are delighted.

Matt Belchamber did an absolutely brilliant job on our cliff top garden under the most arduous weather conditions in the Spring of 2014. In association with the garden designer he recommended to us (Bo Cook of Alitura) he transformed the garden from a modest patch of lawn and borders into a work of art. He started on time (when the winds were blowing at hurricane force) and completed the work on time, keeping us fully informed all the way. We cannot recommend Matt too highly.

First time using Rated People and it was first class great online communications and follow up processes. Mike Baker was first rate from initial call back through to completion. Took time to talk through requirements, meet on site to survey and estimate the work, providing a clear cost and timescale. The work completed to an excellent standard well within the parameters in my Rated People enquiry. We told Pedro what we wanted and he did some CGI images for us, we chatted on the phone about stuff and also things we liked. His attention to detail was brilliant, he worked quickly and kept us up to date with the projects development with pictures. Nothing was too much trouble, and we couldn't be happier with the completed job. In fact we have divided this project in two, phase one is now done and we will start phase two early next year. Chris recently painted our hallway. He was friendly, punctual, helpful and tidy. He did extra bits not included in the original quote and the quality of work was excellent. Would recommend him to anyone.

Unfortunately as soon as the work was done we developed a leak in the roof (I'm not saying they are related). We were told by Alan's son that the damp was simply the wall drying out. It wasn't and got progressively worse. We did contact Alan again who said he'd come around but didn't. Three other builders have said that the lead work wasn't correctly done and we've since had to pay for it to be redone.

Fantastic to meet Richard, we met lots of potential trades people for our hallway storage cupboard job. He was definitely the best. Had great ideas, was very thorough in the planning stages and very patient with my husband and i who take a while to make decisions! We have ended up with storage that is beautiful, well built and perfect for our needs. Richard was v helpful with a few other issues we had in the house too. Highly recommended and would definitely use again without hesitation! Thank you Richard.
