Family run business. Have been a bricklayer for 30 years and now my son has followed in my foot steps. I have always been proud of my work especially conservation. I have recently joined rated people because I have had enough of the site work and feel its time to slow down and offer my experience to private work. I have done private work in the past and always ensured works were completed on time,at a reasonable rate and took pride in my work. I am a registered company and can be found on company house. I can supply my registration number for any checks.

We are a small but capable building company. The images attached to my profile shows our current project. 6 new homes in Dursley. These are 5x 3 story homes and 1x 2 story home. This project has been completed over the last 14 months with some major structural complications that we have over come with skill and perseverance. 3 types of retaining walls implemented to help secure the land. Complicated foundations, both in depth and location. 36 pile foundations at a depth of 9 meters. My company can provide a structural engineer, architect, our own in house Gas safe engineer and all the trades to complete your project no matter how small or big. For those that require it we are registered with Advantage Structural Warranty allowing us the ability to offer a 10year structural warranty for new builds. ROOF LEAK AFTER HEAVY RAIN After picking up the job on Rated People Adam attended and within 48 hours provided a broad quote for the work needed, additionally cautioned me as to the possibility of necessary work not immediately apparent at first sight. Adam and his friendly, competent team arrived as arranged, did a good job to roof verges, Ridges, Valleys, replacing tiles and cleaning up the site daily. Three weeks later after more heavy rain and snow my roof is sound. Thank you! Highly commended.

Valley Walling called round promptly and gave a good value quote to re point and tidy and seal the top of the wall. They told me exactly when they would start and finish the job. They kept to the timing and days working to the dot. Before they left they cleaned up using my hose for the stray bits of cement. Would recommend them for all outside building work. Very Polite and wasted no time. DT. 31/05/25.

We are a father and son landscaping team, Derek and Josh. We have over 20 years experience and I would say we are friendly, kind and approachable. We listen carefully to your requirements and try hard to come up with the best solutions within the available budget. Attention to detail is very important to us , this gives us job satisfaction and gives you a better long term result. Our services include lawn renovation or replacement, garden renovation/ jungle clearance, gravel paths and driveways, raised bed construction, , fitting everedge metal edging to create borders or edge lawns. This is just a small sample of what we can do. We don’t however lay patios. Finally we are fully insured and have a waste carrier license. We do try to recycle as many materials as possible particularly soil and gravel.

I was able to appoint Marcel & Krys to take on our job that was to relay a number of loose paving slabs with a complete regrouting of the patio. They were completely professional from the start, ensured that I understood what the work entailed and worked extremely hard and competently. I accepted what I thought was a fair price for the job. They provided me with a suitable date and a detailed written description as to what needed to be done.. They were a charming team and I would recommend them to others.

Wow. These guys have worked so hard to get our job finished on time. They have built a retaining wall in our garden with deep foundations, drainage and rendered to a lovely finish. They have cleared the site and completed the job to an excellent standard. They have been polite and helpful, going the extra mile and taking the initiative to solve problems as they arose. Really great work in tidying up my garden. Grafted hard to clean out the weeds, trimmed down my tree and hedges, and took all the waste away. All this during a very wet day. I am really pleased with every aspect of John's work. From start to finish he has been professional, honest and approachable. I had a few quotes for my job and picked John as he seemed the most competent and was happy to talk through all the options. He also came in at a very competitive rate which helps! He always arrived on time and insisted of clearing away each night. All of his team also worked to a high standard. My job had it's challenges but John has the experience and skills to overcome anything!
