The removal of the chimney was straight forward with the team working harmoniously. The roofing subcontractors followed and the job was completed to full satisfaction in a couple of days with any queries speedily and happily resolved through Tom and his team. Having work done is never 'stress free' (and roofers oft get a bad press) but Baileys Roofing deserve much praise for their work and their strong commitment to giving customer satisfaction. They kept to the timing and days working to the dot. Before they left they cleaned up using my hose for the stray bits of cement. Would recommend them for all outside building work. I have been a professional roofer for 38 years started on schools then worked my way on to ministry of defence. Now I just enjoy doing domestic and commercial roofs.
Avoid Wayne from Blackwell Roofing. He quoted £380 based on photos, then came to view the job from the ground—no proper inspection. He later climbed a ladder with no safety gear, started tearing down fascia, then suddenly claimed the job was £1,600. When I asked him to stop, he became aggressive, shouting and throwing tools and wood down dangerously. I felt threatened and unsafe in my own home. Totally unprofessional, dishonest, and intimidating. Do not hire him.
