George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. Mike contacted me very quickly after posting the advert, and came out the following day to quote. I have just bought a property and needed work doing immediately and even though mike had another job on, he found the time to start on mine. I'm very impressed with the job mike and his team have done, I now have 3 new ceilings and 2 plastered walls, plus some extra work he's done and it means I am now able to move in! I will be asking mike to return to do some other jobs for me, and I would highly recommend :)

Mr Walker contacted us promptly and his quotation was emailed by the following day. There were a couple of unavoidable delays, but he kept us well-informed of progress. Fitting the new doors was done with meticulous care and adjustment to fit the existing architraves etc. Impressive attention to detail, and the finished job is extremely good. Would certainly use him again when we need similar joinery/carpentry work.

It was only a small job and the exact cause of the leak in the roof couldn't be confirmed from ground level. Peter came round promptly and gave me a quote based on the information I gave him. The work was done the following week and was slightly more extensive than expected but within the original quote range. All in all excellent service and I would definitely the company again.

I have more to add to my review. Doug Rose went above and beyond to fix the unexpected problems that arose with our rather old plumbing. Intending to lay new bathroom flooring, instead found he had to identify and cure a severe plumbing blockage, we were very lucky he was at hand. Unexpectedly our up pipe was filled with what looked like black sand having accumulated for years, recent work caused it to drop down and block everything in the bathroom. Expertly resolved by Doug, recommend, excellent work

Ray did an exceptional job decorating several rooms in our grade 2 listed property. Each room required fairly extensive preparation which he undertook meticulously over a period of time. This was followed by the use of oil based undercoat and oil based satin paint for the woodwork which is the preferred option for a more durable effect on woodwork. The end result was first class and undertaken at a highly competitive rate. I will be using Ray again and I am confident that future clients will be delighted
