George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. A nice guy, who did the job, but I was glad to see leave!Substantially under estatimated the time the job would take. Despite being home, he made poor decisions without communicating with me e..g. initially fitted handrails stupidly , intended on leaving base of initial hadraill, left bricks on drive (despite advising him of attempted break in) expected me to get rid of waste, asked4payment mid way through (an intended 2 day job). Good when he is here but can’t get him to come back and finish the job which is disappointing.
It was a little difficult to pin him down to a date to do the work, but he did a good job at the agreed price.
Performed an excellent job. Worked very quickly but well and with care and attention not to damage or bash anything in the process for what was quite a tricky job. Went further than asked for and actually replaced fittings which I had not realised were cracked and all for the previously agreed very reasonable price. Very happy with the job and for similar pieces of work in the future I will not hesitate but will call on his services again. I would strongly recommend him to you.
