Growing up in North West London my grandparents came from large families, with many brother and sisters both my ( English and a tad Irish ) Nan and Grandad had nothing, Thankfully my Nans family got into fruit and veg and had all the fruit and veg stalls in Kilburn for a bit, my Nan having one of them advised my Grandad to give up painting and focus on Fruit and Veg. Through hard work and determination coupled with being good with people that very stall ( next to what was woolworths now Iceland ) meant my mum and aunt could benefit and have the things my Nan and Grandad couldn't. My ( Greek Cypriot ) Dad was taught the skill by my Grandparents as he was my father and would go on to Make a successful Fruit and Veg shop in Golders Green in which I'm extremely proud of. Working in this shop as you would go into it on the right used to be ' A business built on customer satisfaction '. You see it isn't the building game but it's all the same to me, we serve the customers and we leave them Satisfied Every Single time. That's the name of the game. My Grandad would later teach me how to paint and my Nan would teach me how to work with oil based paints and the rest is history. To me personally when a customer decides to proceed with SDL PKB it always fills me with a rush of Pride, Joy, Greatfullness and Enthusiasm. We hired ES Electrical to fit our new Kitchen and also added a toilet and shower unit downstairs. From the begening we found Harry and his Team to be very professional but also had have a very friendly approach. AVOID! Mr Art 13 (father&son) ABANDONED our 7-room project. Started 2 beds and a wetroom that now needs redone. After 10 weeks and 50% of the quote PAID, no room was left usable. Gave constant excuses for delays: “prices doubled,” “faulty pipes,” etc. They told us they DON'T CUT CORNERS and explained how coving screws should be filled and sanded, yet they paint over screws, leaving drips on the walls, flooring laid on an uneven base they poured, tiling on a dirty dusty wall, using unfit materials, etc.

Zlatko was brilliant. I made the initial contact for the work to be carried out at my sons' house. My son had just had a wood burning stove installed (it was a wedding present from my wife and myself) Obviously, there was a good deal of making good that needed doing. A fire surround and cast iron grate had to be removed. Once contact was made with Zlatko it was all systems go. He turned up on time to give a quote which was very competitive. He turned up the next day and did a super job.

I have worked on a sub-contract basis for a reputable local company for over thirty-five years. My main trades are partitioning, fitting kitchens and bathrooms including plumbing, floor and wall tiling and decorating. I'm also experienced in other trades such as fitting laminate flooring and decking, carpentry and plasterboarding walls and ceilings. I believe it takes no longer to do a good job than it does to do a poor one. I had a High school education and attained o-levels in English, Maths, Geography and Technical drawing. I also am a qualified first aider and I take a refresher course every three years.
Richard did a superb job in putting up shelves, coat rails and curtains for us. He was bang on time, efficient and an absolute pro. He was also an absolutely lovely chap too, a pleasure to talk to and I felt completely comfortable leaving him to work while I worked upstairs. I couldn't recommend Richard highly enough.
