Firstly let me say Thank you to PLP decorators, that are highly knowledgeable and experienced professionals with passion for what they do. Hi I'm Richard from South Norwood. First of all I would like to thank you for reading my profile. I'm a sole trader with over forty years experience in home and office improvement and repair. I have worked on a sub-contract basis for a reputable local company for over thirty-five years. My main trades are partitioning, fitting kitchens and bathrooms including plumbing, floor and wall tiling and decorating. I'm also experienced in other trades such as fitting laminate flooring and decking, carpentry and plasterboarding walls and ceilings. I believe it takes no longer to do a good job than it does to do a poor one. I had a High school education and attained o-levels in English, Maths, Geography and Technical drawing. I also am a qualified first aider and I take a refresher course every three years.

Richard did a superb job in putting up shelves, coat rails and curtains for us. He was bang on time, efficient and an absolute pro. He was also an absolutely lovely chap too, a pleasure to talk to and I felt completely comfortable leaving him to work while I worked upstairs. I couldn't recommend Richard highly enough.

I hired RT-Gas&Electrical engineers LTD for a total renovation of my flat including plumbing and electrical work, plastering, design and fitting of a new bathroom and kitchen, painting and carpentry. Robert and his team carried out the work in the agreed timescale, they all worked very hard, shown a total dedication the project, creating solutions to unexpected problems. Excellent company, meticulous, trustworthy and of high quality. I would definitely recommend them to others including friends and family.

First time I've engaged a tradesman after becoming a homeowner. Explained exactly what needed to be done and why (shows me evidence of various bit clogging up thanks to limescale) kept me informed when he was going to be late (this was down the snowy conditions) all work done on time and as expected things work so much easier now. Left the flat in a good clean condition afterwards.
