Andrew is a nice guy and does quality work, but for kitchen tiling I am afraid to say is very slow; approx 4 tiles per hour (100x200mm) or 0.8 sq m a day (10 hours). I personally (a diy'er) can do 15 tiles an hour - i.e. 4 times faster. £250 at day is expensive. (My electrician is £175 a day) I ended up capping the job at £600 and decided to complete tiling and grouting myself after 3 days. I would not have hired Andrew if I knew he was this slow and as a result expensive.

Throughout our project Andy went out of his way to minimise the mess, put up with our kids and accomodate any changes in the work that we threw at him. The finshed work was impeccable, even his plastering was better than most plasterers I've hired in the past. I would not hesitate in using Andy again for future projects and although I'm tempted to give him one star to make sure he doesn't get too busy, he definitely earned all five.
DB Builders were very reliable and excellent value for money. The quality of the work was excellent and I would certainly recommend them and I would also certainly using them again.
The guys did an excellent job and were very diligent whe it came to clearing up afterwards. I will use them for the next phase and would recommend them to anyone.
I have nothing but praise and where I would like to list the attributes of this contractor, it would take too long but, what I will say is that brilliant in all three categories is a massive understatement. For anybody wanting a plasterer, I cannot recommend this contractor highly enough in all categories; hire with confidence!
Paul was brilliant, he came out the next day and did an amazing amount of work In one day at a very hight standard and was all done for a competative price! He didnt stop for a break, was very friendly and polite will definatly recomend him to friends and my Husband is a builder and will also be keeping him in mind for any plastering jobs that he cannot do him self. Highly recomended. I think this website is a fantasic idea aswell.
