Archie was fantastic. He deserves the five stars given. Not only did he come in at the budget provided, but communicated several times and promptly on text and email. He arrived on time and even though we had supplied him with what a keylock company had said we needed - it was wrong - he went out and got the correct locks that were needed for the job and never charged extra or anything. He sent us an invoice after the job and we paid him. Simple. What a joy to get 5 star service in the current climate.

We are also known for our charitable work at St Bede's Catholic church Balham and St Mathews Anglican church Croydon. Working for professional establishments over the years, helped us to perfect our skills and procedures. Now working directly for home owners and landlords with fantastic results. Initial leads are from rated people, but once people see what we can do, they usually pass us on the other family members and friends. 70% of our jobs are from word of mouth and referrals. Spreading good will and satisfaction through out the community. We also build our projects with 10 - 20 year accountability in mind. 90 % of everyone we work for are usually happy to instantly become our referee. The other 10% usually give an instant reference but are often too busy to take reference calls. Retracting the previous review I gave on Affordable Repairs. Reason below. Got Ken to repair a leaking roof on the same property, after many attempts, wasted time and ££££ it was clear he was shooting in the dark and has no knowledge in this area. He even turned up at the property once (without being asked) pretended to do some work on the leaking roof, then had the audacity to send me a bill for this! When I refused to pay it he got personal. Lacks integrity. Use at your own risk.

He agreed a fixed price for fixing the toilet that evening which was half of what other plumbers have suggested and it did not matter how long it took fix the toilet. He arrived on time. It was comfortable to have him around the house with young children. There was a problem with the rubber seal as well as the original issue. He still stuck with his original charge agreed on Friday evening and only charged me extra for parts. He's very honest and I would not hesitate to call him again.
