Arrange a next day plumbers. Got message with expected times but no one showed up. After chasing was told it was a mistake and rearranged for the following day. Had to pay for a next day service which I never received. Person on phone said they are not trained to deal with that issue and would pass on the someone else but have not heard anything. Also emailed without a response.

This firm sub contracted out the work to a local plumber/carpenter who I found difficult to contact. I needed a new shower as he said he couldn`t repair it. I selected the cheapest one as I am upgrading my bathroom later this year. He couldn`t get it straight away so I selected a dearer one which he fitted. He then told me he was going away the next day. If I hadn`t selected the dearer one I would still be waiting! There is some moisture leaking but I really don`t want him again so I`ll wait and see.

Nick will probably visit your home within a couple of hours of posting the job (making you feel confident that your job will be finished as quickly as you need it to be) send you links to the materials to be purchased, ask for deposit and then stop all forms of communication. 20yrs in the trades qualified plumber leaks, drips and blockages no problem all aspects of building works and maintenance considered.
Scheduled to come to my property the next day to fix boiler. Assured me that he would appear. Took me 4 hours by coach to come to my property in London next day only to be told that he could not do it. Very unethical. Cost me £500 per day time off as an IT contractor + £70 national express coach return ticket and waste of time. This guy named Daniel quoted slightly lower than others but I guess you get what you pay for - I would not use sole trader like this next time due to how unprofessional they can be.
