Pros: Fair and competitive pricing. Work scheduled on short notice and finished quicker than expected. On-site team was professional and courteous. Cons: Needed to follow up to get scaffolding removed. Warranty documents were delayed by over a month despite multiple chases. Gutters were not reinstalled properly causing leaks. Two repair attempts failed and I'm now waiting on a full replacement with no exact date confirmed as yet.

I have been a professional roofer for 38 years started on schools then worked my way on to ministry of defence. Now I just enjoy doing domestic and commercial roofs.
Avoid Wayne from Blackwell Roofing. He quoted £380 based on photos, then came to view the job from the ground—no proper inspection. He later climbed a ladder with no safety gear, started tearing down fascia, then suddenly claimed the job was £1,600. When I asked him to stop, he became aggressive, shouting and throwing tools and wood down dangerously. I felt threatened and unsafe in my own home. Totally unprofessional, dishonest, and intimidating. Do not hire him.

What can one say it took a bit ( looking at the ratings I thought it might take a while as I them to be expected to busy ) But when they got to me they did an amazing job in only around 6 hours , completerly removed flat roof over bay window/ front door with all edgings ect, wonderful job. Tom arrived with his son and brother. They were keen to address the issue and after assessing the roof area and the velux windows, came up with a solution and carried out the repairs. They were polite and amiable, and discussed what they were going to do with me before starting. They cleared up after the work was completed, and gave an assurance if there was an issue with further leaks to contact him and he would return to put right.would certainly recommend.
