After meeting Johnny I got him to quote for a much bigger job, comprising of a huge area of paving with a big concrete base for a garden house as well as the driveway extension, laying of cabling and adding a soak away and drainage. I was apprehensive due to the size of the job & the expenditure involved but I chose J Ward over others that have done work for me before. Jimmy and his team worked very very hard to sort out our overgrown rockery. They were prompt, efficient and very helpful. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
Agreed to do the work and quoted a daily rate and start date, then before starting work advise that the job was too much for him and he would need to bring a friend. Arrived on the day and advised that his friends day rate was £40.00 more than we agreed. However we decided to go ahead and they completed the job (replacement of most radiators in the house). They did a good job and we paid them but they left without giving us a receipt, All subsequent contact from us went unanswered.
