In a nutshell Mr Scales was god sent! I urgently needed decking done to an unusually shaped area of the garden and also tidying up of some unfinished work by a previous workman. Kevin did a remarkable job with the lot. He arrived at the times he said he would, waited to discuss anything he thought I needed to consent on and was very careful not to damage any of my pots & plants. He completed the work in the time he estimated & understood my tight schedule. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!

This was a two-stage project. The proprietor was keen to keep me informed with progress, issues deadlines etc and as such I always felt I was an integral part of the project. The standard of finish cannot be faulted with highly professional and friendly workmen being utilised for the work. Any post-build snags were quickly dealt with no quibble. I would highly recommend High and Dry.

Stephen and Damo did an excellent job of removing part of a wall and installing an RSJ. He was quick to send over a quote, was able to fit in the work before Christmas and generally did an excellent job with it all. They were professional throughout and a good team! ?Would happily recommend and use again - thanks so much! :)

Dale has done a quality job of our natural stone paving....both the preparation and finishing were high quality. Dale's approach to the work is open, honest and flexible (we changed a couple of things late on...and this was no problem). Already asked Dale to quote for other works....we can't recommend dale highly enough!!

Freddie & Freddie spent two days in the cold weather taming my very overgrown garden. They expertly and safely cut down and removed a 10yr old field maple tree sited next to a 6ft wooden fence, having dug deep to remove the stump and major roots. They also removed a large bush and overgrown briar rose and weeded between shrubs, pruning as requested, and rotovated all the overgrown borders . All the garden waste was taken away. I am delighted with the result of their hard work. For me it was excellent value.

We found Darren a very reliable, professional and hardworking tradesman. The job of removing an old damp Victorian floor and relaying with concrete ready for tiling, was completed in good time and within budget despite unexpected problems with the foundations. He salvaged as many old tiles as possible to reuse and he gave us good advice and information when necessary. The site was left clean and tidy and all materials removed. Altogether an excellent job. Ian is a very friendly, knowledgeable and reliable chap with clearly a lot of experience in all aspects of the building trade. He completed a re rendering job and damp prevention job on my bay window. Explained exactly what he was going to do and why. Completed the job in a day and everything was neat and well done. Kept me up to date throughout as I was away. Highly recommended and reliable.

The guys were competitive with their pricing, quick to respond to questions and arrived as scheduled on time and did a great job. They worked really hard and got the jobs done in really good time.
