GLS did some work on our cottage, including renovating a staircase, fitting skirting boards and door frames, hanging doors and installing a built-in wardrobe. I trained as a teenager in My Fathers Business when I left School, worked as an apprentice for His Plumbers and Gas Engineers (1 of of them was my Uncle) until - I went to college and Studied to Be Qualified Myself. After 10yrs working for my Dads Company firstly as a Plumber then after 5 yrs Got my Gas qualification. A little over 4 years after that, I made the Step to Work for myself and be my own Boss, and Now my eldest son is now also training to be a plumber and renewables specialist. Also Both of My Brothers are Gas Safe Engineers -Keeping up the family Tradition That My Grandfather Started. Now I am training my son in the trade!

Andrew and his team did a complete gut out, redesign and extension to our house, the work was completed a year ago but I forgot to write a review. 3 new bathrooms, new plumbing, electric, everything. The work was completed to a very high standard and he said he guaranteed it, and in the last 9 months, any issue that has come up he has come over within days and repaired anything immediately. Did a fantastic job and at good price
We deal with insurance claims handling, reinstatement and repairs to any type of reinstatement including damage caused by escape of water, flood and fire damaged properties. We also completed works involving: Non-evasive leak detection. Insurance surveying / Schedules. Damp mapping and drying. Refurbishment and repairs to residential commercial buildings. Replacement kitchens and bathrooms. Plumbing. Plastering. Roofing. Painting and decorating. Asbestos surveys and removal. Carpentry. We are also a member of the The British Damage Management Association (BDMA)
Spent about 2hours to do the job. Checking gas supply first before cutting pipe,adding a section of pipe and gas key. Then removed old gas cooker outside and connected new cooker and chain, then explained the controls. Make sure you get a new rubber cooker connector if required. No idea if expensive or not £150. Would recommend.

The guys were absolutely brilliant. They came round and within 20 minutes they knew what was wrong. They had a new boiler ordered and picked up that night and came back first thing the next day to fix it. Honest, friendly and had my new boiler fitted within a few hours. They found solutions to tricky issues they found due to the build of my flat. They went above & beyond.

Pathetic behaviour of the owner, I requested services for which i was asked to pay half of the money upfront, the guys turned up did not completed the requested job by saying its too late now we have to drive two hours to go back home? Never turned up to do rest of the work! Instead damaged my property never apologised for that neither returned to even check it. Avoid and dont pay in advance
The poor review I posted wasn't about the later repairs. It was about the inital calls and emails I made which took a week to confirm the original work date ( poor reliability) and the difference in value between actual materials used and labour (quality and value) .
