This firm sub contracted out the work to a local plumber/carpenter who I found difficult to contact. I needed a new shower as he said he couldn`t repair it. I selected the cheapest one as I am upgrading my bathroom later this year. He couldn`t get it straight away so I selected a dearer one which he fitted. He then told me he was going away the next day. If I hadn`t selected the dearer one I would still be waiting! There is some moisture leaking but I really don`t want him again so I`ll wait and see.

I contacted 247 regarding a leak that was causing a problem in a neighbouring apartment. Rod turned up on time and promptly carried out a thorough investigation to pin point the source of the problem. Within an hour he had found the source of the leak and was able to advise me how to proceed. I would have no problem using 247 again, as they delivered a professional and budget friendly service.

However, despite several messages to them from myself, they never had the courtesy to respond or send me a job estimate. They contacted me really quickly which was fantastic in my urgent plumbing issue. However, the second contract that came round was a little disappointed with. Whilst the primary issue was fixed there was a new second issue that came about. He came a second time to sort but then wanted to further charge an emergency fee. I appreciate it was a weekend but something didn’t sit right. I called a completely different plumber who I trusted before and he said that the wrong part was used which meant it wasnt safe.
