Family run business. Have been a bricklayer for 30 years and now my son has followed in my foot steps. I have always been proud of my work especially conservation. Pros: Fair and competitive pricing. Work scheduled on short notice and finished quicker than expected. On-site team was professional and courteous. Cons: Needed to follow up to get scaffolding removed. Warranty documents were delayed by over a month despite multiple chases. Gutters were not reinstalled properly causing leaks. Two repair attempts failed and I'm now waiting on a full replacement with no exact date confirmed as yet.

He said he could do work done 2 days just up and left and said he would text me Thursday and would come on Friday and now I am left with work half done as he said he has right to council contract at any time so if I was anyone on here I would not hire as he is a con man I have contacted trading standers as he as used all my pipes and half done work and now saying we have threaten him he meant to have recorded but can't prove it so I would not hire as he told me he could do it but cause another job has call

Phil is an excellent tradesman - we had him replace some skirting boards, door frames and picture rails in 2 rooms. He was very reliable, reasonably priced and worked to our budget, his craftsmanship was very good, he was a quick (and tidy) worker, and he gave us plenty of extra advice and tips for other rooms. Additionally, he went out of his way to help us arrange getting some door restored by one of his contacts. Would thoroughly recommend and have saved his details for use in the future! Thanks Phil!

Job done in a friendly and considerate way, and we liked the result. Issues which arose (e.g. water coming through ceiling below two evenings after they'd left) were rectified, and snags at the end were dealt with promptly. Cleaning up was fairly good but not perfect - tiles needed quite a bit of further scraping, scouring and buffing to remove traces of grout and adhesive. But altogether perfectly satisfied that we got what we paid for.
