Hello, my name is Dave, and I am a professional painter and decorator with over 17 years of experience. I am fully qualified and insured in all aspects of decorating. Over the years, I have worked on hundreds of projects, from large commercial jobs to small domestic tasks. I have single-handedly decorated a large manor house and handled everything from tiny repair jobs to garden sheds. There’s nothing I haven’t done or seen in this field. Great job finished on time and on budget. We cleaned up each evening in preparation for the next day but by the end of the week Yad was cleaning himself to prepare for the next day. Trustworthy we left him at times when we needed to go out and provided a key for him to let himself in. Very happy with the finished product.

He put every effort into driving a long way to assess our water leak. He even inspected everywhere & had a long ladder to climb the 3 stories to the roof to evaluate all sources of the leak. He found a crack in the roof & a pipe pouring water into the crack. He even repaired the crack free of charge! We would hire him again, esp for his specialty-exteriors.

I was apprehensive appointing someone through a website, but so glad I did Carl was great, from a very informative initial meeting and then estimate all the way through to completion of 1 ensuite, 1 small family bathroom and 1 small downstairs toilet. He was full of useful ideas which helped the project go smoothly. Due to the nature of this project, flexibility was key and he excelled in this regards. From coffee tables and chairs to staircases, floors and grand pianos, I have done it all. Colour matching, change of use and change of design. Government contracts in the past, included various departments from department of business to health (usually indirectly). Also RAF dance floor to royal navy officer training head office, all when I was living nearer London. I have been in this business since leaving school, and intend to continue while I still can because I have a 3 year old daughter at a rather late age. In the 1970s when I started most people were doing domestic furniture in this trade, I however was trained on government department jobs as well as domestic jobs. In those days most polishing jobs were dark traditional colours, by the late 80s to early naughties they were more natural colours and more recently lighter than natural. Perhaps you require fitted furniture or architectural joinery changes, such as doors and frames to blend with carpets or curtains. Send a photo and let's see what can be done.
