George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. Initially I was employed in the family business where i had the opportunity to learn the skills needed to build and renovate properties including brickwork, plastering, decorating and carpentry. .Woodwork has always been a passion of mine along with an interest in art, craft and design. With this in mind I studied Furniture Make and Design at Rycotewood Furniture School in Oxford as a mature student where I was able to develop my design and woodworking skills to a higher level. Although we did not hire this company for the internal building work we asked them to quote to put up decking and a fence in the garden. Greig carried out the work with a minimum of fuss and cracked on with the job in a competant and effective manner. The replacement stair bannisters, spindles and newel posts were fitted to a good standard and at a fair and competitive price. I intend to ask G E Carpentry to quote for any future carpentry work I may require.
I have been a general builder nvq lvl3 for over 12 years and never been out of work and still busy. have come to this site to see if there was any small jobs i could fit in over the weekends and maybe more! also three most recently years in stone masonry.
