Alisair was the guy who came round a day after i put the advert online to look at the job. He took measurements and offered to buy all parts for us at trade price saving us the job. Updated us on final cost and date to do the work, turned up as scheduled and even done a small extra jobs. Highly recommend.

The decking is sagging and moves every time you walk on it which we have to do to get out of the garden. The step also rocks when walked upon. The wood was left cracked in areas and there are some miss cuts. The concrete was undertaken during torrential rain and has resulted in constant dusting being trailed onto the decking and subsequently into the house. The concrete ran down the length of the driveway and cannot be removed. Phoned to complain 3 weeks ago and heard nothing further.

They were punctual, polite, and trustworthy, completing the job — detailed pointing, brickwork replacement, installing a new gutter and downpipe, repairing a wooden patio door, and tiling. All work done to a high standard with quality materials. He provided valuable advice, and the site was left clean. Did a poor job. Begged to be paid and promised to return to fix issues. He never did and ignores messages. Felt not sealed properly, bubbled out and on the front where visible. Knocked 2 bricks completely loose and just left them like that. Didn't mention them. Regret taking a punt on him. Silly of me to pay the full amount. You live and learn.

Unfortunately I’m dissatisfied with the job S&D has done for 3 reasons: * they smeared with the cement mix all the brickwork they touched as well as the adjacent wall and the electric car charger * they left the rubble behind * they were going to leave the roof not weather sealed until I spotted and and fought for it to be mended
