George is an an amazing Joiner and a great person. Very professional, well planned , flexible , supportive etc etc ... He completed my bespoke interiors for the sliding wardrobes and I m impressed with the work and commitment he has shown. Rare to find such good people in he market. Excellent service from Alex. Came out straight away and gave me an estimate and a date to complete the work. On the day he kept me informed what was going on and how he was progressing with the job. Left everything tidy and clean. Will be using him again later this year, overall very satisfied with work. Alex was great.

Keiran did that rare thing of turning up exactly when he said he would. Tidy and friendly, and reasonably priced. He removed a glass pane from door and fitted wooden replacement before installing cat flap - looks smart and exactly what I wanted; he also installed MDF shelves in a walk in cupboard - not exactly complex, but affordable and exactly what I needed.

Keith did a fantastic job for us; he has a fine eye for detail and we’re delighted with the finished results. Despite the job being more complicated than originally thought, Keith took it all in his stride and didn’t charge us any more than his initial quote. Very professional and genuine man.

I am very pleased with the service recieved from Alex. He quicky provided a competitive quote and arranged to get the work done on a Saturday morning. It involved the repair of an external door and he moved other jobs around so he could get to this sooner because it affected the security of the building. The repair looks great and he has painted the door frame for us. Alex even agreed to adjusting a door closer whilst there at no extra charge. I will use McLaurin Joinery again.

Just so you know; Alan has 20 years experience of fitting kitchens but has only recently joined Rated People – hence the few ratings provided so far (which was the basis of my initial reservations). Alan provided a competitive quote and was thorough, helpful, professional and conscientious before, during and after the work was carried out. In short Alan was excellent and I would highly recommend him (I can't think of any more superlatives to use!)!

Sandy is a fantastic tradesman, he's very friendly, a great communicator and turns up exactly when he says he is going to. He gave us a detailed and realistic quote. In fact we asked him for a quote on another job in the house too. For the repair itself, he did a very good job, and sent me photos in progress. A small crack appeared during the 'curing' process and Sandy came back, fixed the crack and was happy to do so. It has been a couple of weeks since the job was done and our wall is looking lovely!
