I paid for new roof in 2017 with 25 years warranty. In November 2024 the roof felt apart. I made claim through my insurance company who appointed BVS surveyor to inspect the roof. Insurance claim was declined due to poor workmanship ( insufficient battens, not secureed dry verge, tiles and not enough felt). I asked Roofsmart honour their warranty but they refused saying that I paid cheap and now they charge 10k for new roof but who wants defective roof in the first place Now I need to take legal action.

We have an old cast iron bath and had the bath panels to fix to it. We didn't feel confident doing it ourselves as it was quite a tricky job. Lukasz took time to get the measurements and the cutting was perfect. Looks great. Also we asked him to fix the old original bathroom door which has never closed shut. He put new hinges and shaved it and now it shuts. He did some plastering too. It took a day and charged his day rate (£150) plus a little extra for the hinges, plaster and frame. Great job!

Jon gave the best price compared to many other tradespeople. His work was also of sufficient quality although we had some major leaks due to bad seals. He came outside of work hours and fixed the issue for us. Removing one star because he cracked and broke some tiles and he couldn't fit the replacement tiles.

My initial post on rated people was for a handyman to repair a wooden gate. Ben responded very quickly to the posting and on his review of the gate we agreed that repair was not feasible and the solution was to install a new gate. Ben worked hard to build and install a replica of the old gate and I am happy with the end result. I can recommend his craftsmanship in carpentry and attention to detail to ensure customer satisfaction.

No job too small
After completing some lighting work I went in to have lighting installed on my wooden staircase .. worked ok to begin with but the sensor developed a fault and lighting continually flashed on and off this was Dec 24. Bradley has promised numerous times to rectify the fault I’ve taken time off work when he made arrangements to come but he has yet to turn up.. I would therefore not recommend as he has let me down. After posting the above he contacted me to arrange to come again and failed to turn up ..
