I paid for new roof in 2017 with 25 years warranty. In November 2024 the roof felt apart. I made claim through my insurance company who appointed BVS surveyor to inspect the roof. Insurance claim was declined due to poor workmanship ( insufficient battens, not secureed dry verge, tiles and not enough felt). I asked Roofsmart honour their warranty but they refused saying that I paid cheap and now they charge 10k for new roof but who wants defective roof in the first place Now I need to take legal action.

Reese was quick to respond to fix a shower leak but it went downhill from there. On the day of the job, he left midday with a ripped out shower and became unresponsive. He didn’t seal off the bath meaning a bath full of water went through our kitchen ceiling. When he returned to fit the shower, he left all his rubbish outside which is now full of mice, promising return but it’s 3 months later and now we’re hearing the shower is leaking still. Reese is disorganised and this work feels sloppy.

We requested that the bathroom was taken out and the pump parts kept. Unfortunately the pump was ripped out badly so we cannot reuse it. The young apprentice also caused alot of damage / mess and did not clean up. The plasterer they used was really good. Did not turn up when they said they would. Also really hassled for money once job was done, even though we had some outstanding issues. Shame as we were looking for a reliable worker to help with another local renovation.
