We hired ES Electrical to fit our new Kitchen and also added a toilet and shower unit downstairs. Andrew is a nice guy and does quality work, but for kitchen tiling I am afraid to say is very slow; approx 4 tiles per hour (100x200mm) or 0.8 sq m a day (10 hours). I personally (a diy'er) can do 15 tiles an hour - i.e. 4 times faster. £250 at day is expensive. (My electrician is £175 a day) I ended up capping the job at £600 and decided to complete tiling and grouting myself after 3 days. I would not have hired Andrew if I knew he was this slow and as a result expensive.
I would recommend Andy to anyone looking for a reliable, friendly and skilled builder. Throughout our project Andy went out of his way to minimise the mess, put up with our kids and accomodate any changes in the work that we threw at him. The finshed work was impeccable, even his plastering was better than most plasterers I've hired in the past. I would not hesitate in using Andy again for future projects and although I'm tempted to give him one star to make sure he doesn't get too busy, he definitely earned all five.
The guys did an excellent job and were very diligent whe it came to clearing up afterwards. I will use them for the next phase and would recommend them to anyone.

Joe and 2 other guys (really nice guys, polite, on time, professional, work coconscious etc) have done an absolutely fabulous job of skimming my hall (upstairs/downstairs/ceiling) . The finish is so smooth and lovely, can’t wait to paint. I would 100% recommend and would definitely use again next time.
