From coffee tables and chairs to staircases, floors and grand pianos, I have done it all. Colour matching, change of use and change of design. Government contracts in the past, included various departments from department of business to health (usually indirectly). Also RAF dance floor to royal navy officer training head office, all when I was living nearer London. I have been in this business since leaving school, and intend to continue while I still can because I have a 3 year old daughter at a rather late age. In the 1970s when I started most people were doing domestic furniture in this trade, I however was trained on government department jobs as well as domestic jobs. In those days most polishing jobs were dark traditional colours, by the late 80s to early naughties they were more natural colours and more recently lighter than natural. Perhaps you require fitted furniture or architectural joinery changes, such as doors and frames to blend with carpets or curtains. Send a photo and let's see what can be done. Trevor came and looked at our floor, and suggested polishing up the current floorboards as an option, which we decided to go for. We couldn't be happier with the result! I would recommend Andy to anyone looking for a reliable, friendly and skilled builder. Throughout our project Andy went out of his way to minimise the mess, put up with our kids and accomodate any changes in the work that we threw at him. The finshed work was impeccable, even his plastering was better than most plasterers I've hired in the past. I would not hesitate in using Andy again for future projects and although I'm tempted to give him one star to make sure he doesn't get too busy, he definitely earned all five.
Mr Goodman, was punctual for all appts before starting the job. He brought with him relevant colleagues, ie electrician and plumber. He started work last week and so far all is going very well. The only problems have been with deliveries, but this is not his fault.

Marbuild started off by fixing and replacing floorboards in our house but we were so impressed we called them back to take out or old and fit our new kitchen and convert our hallway to being longer. I have just had my loft conversion, then followed by an extension, driveway and summer rooms built by ceka construction, they are hardworking, talented and polite people, Roland himself is a perfectionist so there is no reason to oversee his work, he makes sure it is done properly. It took me many years to decide on getting building work done on my house after hearing all the horror stories, but I am grateful to have found Roland and his team who made my home renovation a stress fee project and finished within the time promised, the team worked daily between 8 and 5pm rain or shine, unlike other builders who seem to string you along once they are in, my loft was completed in a month whereas other builders gave a lead of time of 6 to 8 weeks, this is because Roland uses twice as many people, also each person he uses is a specialist to his trade, not a multi tasker..and this is where you are able to see the difference in workmanship. They have left me with a perfect house, I would recommend him to anyone and he will soon be working with other members of my family.

In a nutshell, Marius and his team are great. They're kind, respectful and Marius is always available to answer every question you have - he def is the most knowledgeable builder I've spoken to. You get a very transparent estimate and sign a contract, for both parties' peace of mind.
