Spencer at Pocock Developments project managed our work very well. From the fully detailed quote, to advising on any pricing changes and providing some extra plastering work - got to say everything was managed smoothly and transparently, and the one hiccup over the roof tiles was put right quickly. Plus we appreciated Myron and Ivan's eye for detail and managing their work around the weather. Our two dormers look great, so thanks Pocock Development and we'd definitely use them again ????

We are Solar Technicians. Not pest control experts or window cleaners. We have the knowledge and experience when it involves installing or maintaining your Solar Panels. You wouldn’t want a brick layer working of your solar panels, would you? All our work comes with a Workmanship Guarantee and we are covered by our Public liability insurance. We do not use any chemicals or treatment to clean the solar panels and our specialist equipment protects the ARC on the face of the solar panels. Using the wrong equipment could be detrimental to your solar panels. We only use the highest standard of materials for Solar Bird Protection and the correct equipment for carrying out Solar Panel Cleans. Hence why pest control experts stuff chicken wire under the Solar Panels & window cleaners get poor results when they attempt to clean the Solar Panels from the ground with a soft bristle brush. We will be gaining access to the roof without scaffolding, which keeps the cost down and also using the correct equipment to clean the panles that will remove the build up of Lichen, Algae & any pollen / dust whilst still protecting the ARC on the face of the solar panels. We would advise a solar clean once a year, anymore is not necessary. If you wish to have both services completed at the same time, we would be happy to offer a discount. Keiran and his gang at Smith & Sons are a total disgrace. He demanded full payment upfront (which clearly funded his honeymoon), did the bare minimum, then vanished. No return, no refund, no shame. They’ve taken our money and run – pure theft, in my view. They hide behind multiple business names, which reeks of dishonesty and likely tax dodging. Untrustworthy. Unreliable. Unprofessional. Avoid them like the plague. I wouldn’t let them near a garden with a bargepole.

They called me to book in a job and moved the job time twice in the same day and felt it was appropriate to come out at 8pm at night. I'd wasted my whole Saturday waiting in for a quote. Ironic considering the name of their company.

Sam & his team (Col & Joe) worked extremely hard on several building projects to the property . They were friendly, polite, went above & beyond fixing problems we didn't know we had until unearthed during their work. They also made sure everything was left clean & tidy at the end of each day & removed all their rubbish. Very pleased with the results.

Avoid Wayne from Blackwell Roofing. He quoted £380 based on photos, then came to view the job from the ground—no proper inspection. He later climbed a ladder with no safety gear, started tearing down fascia, then suddenly claimed the job was £1,600. When I asked him to stop, he became aggressive, shouting and throwing tools and wood down dangerously. I felt threatened and unsafe in my own home. Totally unprofessional, dishonest, and intimidating. Do not hire him.

Pros: Fair and competitive pricing. Work scheduled on short notice and finished quicker than expected. On-site team was professional and courteous. Cons: Needed to follow up to get scaffolding removed. Warranty documents were delayed by over a month despite multiple chases. Gutters were not reinstalled properly causing leaks. Two repair attempts failed and I'm now waiting on a full replacement with no exact date confirmed as yet.
