We have found drainage problems which the insurance company will not honour due to incorrect installation during this project. This has cost us dearly.

AVOID AT ALL COST and it is the right company. Don’t pay him or his partner Nick Moules any money. Nick will probably visit your home within a couple of hours of posting the job (making you feel confident that your job will be finished as quickly as you need it to be) send you links to the materials to be purchased, ask for deposit and then stop all forms of communication. They will quote +/- £20 to the other tradesmen. Should be banned on this site.

Radu and Constantin managed to wreck a 1930s bay window using an angle grinder on the brick work. Never came back to fix it.

Good: Arrived on time and waited for me because I was late, cleared the drain ... at last we can have baths again! Very personable chap, not afraid to get his hands dirty! Knows his drains! Other: Cost a little more than I had offered (£80 I had offered £50) but he was here longer than expected. Also there was some sewage/dirty water left over on the patio that we had to clear up after he had left which wasn't pleasant.

Initial fast service was my first red flag. While the leak was resolved, the workmanship was poor. My regular engineer confirmed my fears, remarking "was it his first day soldering?" There was no proper insulation or sleeving. The replacement skirting board was the wrong model and improperly attached, despite me providing the correct details. I won't use this service again; the reason for their availability is clear. Two stars is generous.
