John Makkar and his incredible team have made the experience of renovating our whole 5 bedroomed house an absolute pleasure ! I had a leaky gutter from poor workmanship by a previous company and I contacted Joe via Rated People. He was quick to respond with a quote and was able to fit the job in, in a reasonable time span. He worked on a really cold day replacing the defective gutter with a more suitable product. He also replace the felt on our garage roof and added decorative edgings to tidy up the look of the property. He was efficient and tidy removing all the rubbish. I would highly recommend him and use again.

They turned up on time every day, worked 7 days a week to get the job done, listened to what I wanted. They cleaned up after themselves every day and just worked constantly throughout the day.The price quoted was very competitive. I would definately use them again. The job that I had done was a complete bathroom refurbishment and roof repair.

Peter is a very pleasant man, he come around to give us a quote and within a few days was back on time to do the work that he said he would do. I found that he took great care in getting the wall back to its former state. We are very pleased with his work and would definitely recommend him and use him again if needs be in the future. Clive and Andy have done a fantastic damp proofing job, totally reliable and a pleasure to have met. I have already spoken with my neighbours regarding them as I can absolutely recommend them and their work. They left everything so tidy as well, even cleaned their own tea cups! Jason has quoted us a very reasonable price and came out of his way to review a job for us - we will be contacting him in the very near future as we have to concentrate on another part of our home first.. but we found Jason to be very accommodating, professional.

Artan responded quickly, came to price the job and gave a quote promptly. Once accepted he gave us a quick start date. He arrived when he said he would, and carried out the work thoroughly and professionally. He included items that we only became aware of after he started, not a problem. Communication was good all the way through. Happy to recommend.

I spoke to dozens of builders and had given up trying to find someone decent to do a full extension at a reasonable price, so I put an ad on here instead just for the key structural jobs. Pete came round and his knowledge, advice and very reasonable price for those elements resulted in me giving him all the work for the extension build and I'm very glad I did because he did an amazing job (thanks Pete!)
