They worked hard all day and were very meticulous about everything. Completed the job to a very high standard and cleaned up, before they left on day 2. Worked late to complete the job. Family run business. Have been a bricklayer for 30 years and now my son has followed in my foot steps. I have always been proud of my work especially conservation. I have recently joined rated people because I have had enough of the site work and feel its time to slow down and offer my experience to private work. I have done private work in the past and always ensured works were completed on time,at a reasonable rate and took pride in my work. I am a registered company and can be found on company house. Gerwyn from GR Jones Brickwork Limited did an absolutely superb job fitting a DPC Tray also replaced very damaged plasterboard on the inside of my patio door. He also skimmed the whole wall inside. The company are professional, polite. I am that impressed I will be having another job done by them. Price was very reasonable. Would definitely recommend this company.

I am a self employed tradesman, with over 18 years experience. I specializes in the wet trade (plastering, all types of rendering, dashing, screed floor and concrete work), I am also experience in wood flooring, tilling, slabbing etc.
Started off very well. Putting on the tiles was extremely good but the grouting was a different ballgame. Not that good I'm afraid. Some parts not the best and grout dried out all over every tile which took 2 1/2 hours to clean off. Very surprised.

Jon said he would be on site 0800 Tuesday and that the job would take two days. I wait in for him, he then advises at 08:47 on that he wont be there but promises to be there 0800 Wednesday. Arrives 09:45 Wednesday. I arranged access for him and was at work on Thursday and didn’t realise until he messaged me at 15:24 that he hasn’t turned into work again, can he come back on Saturday. Messages at 05:28 on Saturday saying he can’t come in but can do tomorrow (Sunday). Messed us around. Won’t use again.

Martin was quick to make contact with me and arrange a time to quote. He came to my house with his wife and they were able to give me really good advice and a quote on the spot which was appreciated. I didn't use Martin on this occasion more due to my own timings then anything else but would certainly look to contact him in the future for any other jobs required.
