George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. Family run business started in 2022 by two cousins who have teamed up to bring two very detailed trades together, plumbing and joinery. We don’t have problems we’ll only ever have solution’s.
Did not turn up in the morning. I had to travel to meet this tradesman as I don’t live in the property. He didn’t bother to let me know he is not coming. After texting him he said “ Am so sorry i didn’t update my diary can i come see you tomorrow morning ?” When I said he is not getting a good feedback then he’s changed the excuse to “daughter unwell”, certainly a lie. I’ve seen his FB business page so he is a bathroom fitter and joiner?!! I think I’ve had a lucky escape. Avoid.

Mirror Finish Plastering is a company since 1992. Since serving my time as a qualified plasterer, which i won apprentice of the year in Sunderland in 1991, my business has grown from strength to strength. Owning several houses of my own in the rental market, I also work for many Landlors over the years. Not only do I do my own plastering, I do everything that`s needed to do before the tenant moves in: incl. joinery, electrics and gas (which does require the need of a qualified gas engineer and electrician to sign off the work that I do). I pride myself for my timekeeping and punctuality. Once I start a job, I always stay on it, till it´s complete, before I move onto the next one. But the biggest pride I have is, after 29 years of plastering, I have always had a great response from all my customers and NEVER had a call back. Excellent job, 10 out of 10! As a landlady I had few plasterers working for me, David is the best. His work, knowledge (all sorts of building issues) and attitude are more than just professional. Tree was trimmed in line with our request, they also sealed the cut areas and trimmed additional dead/redundant branches at no extra cost. Left work site spotless, was very impressed with the professionalism.

Came out short notice. Managed to squeeze me in. Due to short notice of getting room plastered 3 days later. Had 4 double plugs put in. In chrome like I wanted. They were professional and cleaned up after themselves. Will definitely use again
