Tony and his sons came to us to do a fairly small renovation. By the time we had finished adding things on to their list they were with us for over 2 weeks. They took changes in their stride, with good humour and also suggested ways we could save time and money whilst still achieving the look we wanted. And most importantly they were hard working, trustworthy and clean - tidying and wiping down every night before they left. We were so impressed, we have now asked Tony to build our extension.

Steve and his labourer were absolutely brilliant. He contacted me half an hour after i put the job online, came round the next night and quoted me the very next day. He's very patient, i mithered him to death with questions via emails and texts and he got back to me with a straight answer within minutes every time. He always turned up on time if not earlier and got the job done with no fuss in absolutely rubbish weather. Would use him again in a heartbeat and recommend him to anyone anytime.

Had to ring and ask to come back as the boiler started leaking after the service was undertaken. Tradesman didnt turn up on original day agreed to remedy the leak but after a further phone call came back to remedy the leak without further charge.

The workmanship was of a very high quality, but the thing that really stuck out was how reliable and trustworthy Jay was. Jasy is a very pleasant gentleman and I will certainly be using him for any future joinery jobs. Jay's values are something that will put him above the rest of any other joiners and will do him well for the future. The guys got onto the job quickly and at the time specified and got on with the job.The only reason I did not give the quality a full 5 stars is because some of the lower courses of brickwork were not pointed up, but this could be a communication issue as I could not be there to tell them exactly what needed to be done. Darren provided practical solutions to an unusual build, and a proper estimate. As the work was about to start the spec' changed a few times, and Darren was helpful with that. We agreed a new price and signed a straightforward agreement. Security was never an issue - we had no issue with giving Darren keys and access. He turned up when he said he would and always went through the issues of the day and the progress of the day on site and on the phone. The project has worked out really well, and it has been a very good working relationship. We have no hesitation in recommending Darren - he was helpful throughout, including managing the occassional curved ball. He runs work from a joinery led perspective, and has a wide range of understanding about the other trades and what should happen when. A pleasure to work with!

CPs comment is a misrepresentation as not only was it readily agreed to pay extra for repainting one side of 7 panels but in fact a small bonus was added.It is also the case that I assisted CP with lifting panels in and out - the resiting took about 2 to 3 minutes per panel and affected only 6. CP damaged a washing spinner and neither offered apology nor compensation.Far from being fussy I take pride in the way my home looks and welcome professional trade support .
