Placed advert Thursday. Contacted same day by Mike with a view to coming out and quoting next day. Came on time priced the job on Friday and arranged to start work on the Tuesday. Mike worked with his son Silas. What a really nice pair. Genuine, polite and got on with the job even though I asked for a few tweaks along the way. Both very old school and worked at their own pace - happy with work carried out and will use them again. Reasonable price too.

We are experienced in all aspects of tree work, from dismantling, felling and pruning trees to grinding out tree stumps and also reducing and trimming hedges. Most of our customers are private domestic householders. We also work with local estate agents and smaller property developers. We have received numerous comments regarding the high quality of our work and the clean and tidy manner in which we leave each job. We have the necessary industry qualifications (National Proficiency Test Council (NPTC) to operate safely as tree surgeons. Our equipment is inspected twice a year by a LOLER inspector to ensure its safety, we also have insurance of £5 million. Our ethos regarding recycling means that we chop and store the wood we take away. Our other main by-product is wood chip, which we deliver free of charge to local allotments, schools and others that can make use of it. All other waste is taken to a local recycling facility, much of it is wood chip which is taken to a local power station for biomass energy. We also only use bio-degradable chain oil in all our chainsaws, so to protect the user and environment. Freddie & Freddie spent two days in the cold weather taming my very overgrown garden. They expertly and safely cut down and removed a 10yr old field maple tree sited next to a 6ft wooden fence, having dug deep to remove the stump and major roots. They also removed a large bush and overgrown briar rose and weeded between shrubs, pruning as requested, and rotovated all the overgrown borders . All the garden waste was taken away. I am delighted with the result of their hard work. For me it was excellent value.
