Michael and (another) Craig turned up to do the job on the day, time given. Good, tidy job. Can't fault anything, from start to finish!! Would recommend!

George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. Over 30 years of experience as a multi-tradesman. As well as being a qualified plumber I specialise in other wet trades e.g Decorating, Plastering & Rendering, Tiling & Bricklaying. Also, I fit laminate flooring, skirtings, architraves and timber stud work. I am always punctual and reliable, and clean and tidy in my work. I am also happy to assist in planning and designing projects.

We have been building and renovating property since 2005. Over the years, we have predominantly focused on our own projects, but more recently, we are offering our services to clients. Our experience covers all aspects of property works.
Not a bad job overall. A few negatives: changed shower screen spec without consultation with the client. Did not provide floor protection initially. After first day, did not clear up or remove large amount of dust. During evening of first day, water pipe joint sprung a leak. Turned out a push-on connector was not fitted properly. Client had to turn the water supply off. Some finishing not good. Outside tap left at an inconvenient angle.

I'm a registered contractor for a national housing association for Exeter and Plymouth as well as for Connells (estate agents) lettings division. Whether it's just changing a lock, unblocking a toilet, decorating one room or the whole house, or a refurbishment of the whole property - we can do it at competitive rates.
Mike and his team are really lovely people, nothing was too much trouble. Lots of comments from people passing and neighbours on how impressed they are with the speed of construction and the final results. They were very meticulous on leaving the site clean each day after work. I would definitely recommend them and would not hesitate to us them again.

George Bell came to work on some damp related issues in my flat in feb. since having completed the works the problems which first occurred have turned worse and George has been unwilling to get back in contact with me, despite chasing him for 5 months which only reaffirms that the job was poorly undertaken. The company main reception also seems to be a virtual reception so you can never speak with anyone helpful

Attended promptly but did not conplete all the work I asked for. Just changed a fuse and replaced a light switch. When I asked him to return to complete the work he was very reluctant to do so.

5 Star Fencing was absolutely superb - came to site on the day agreed, replaced the three bowed fence panels with ones of very good quality and painted them to match the rest of the fence, and did a small repair on an existing panel - Callum of 5 Star Fencing was an absolute pleasure and left the site (my garden) all clean and tidy.
Unfortunately the purchase of the property fell through we were unable to use this company but I will say that when asked to do a survey they did it quickly and efficiently.
