Dave renovated my mum's kitchen - knocking down an internal wall, bricking up a doorway and fitting a new door and kitchen. His price was mid range of the quotes we received. He did a good job, my mum was very happy with the end result. He also came back after being paid to correct/ replace a few things that needed fixing. He worked neatly and was very polite. The job did take a bit longer than we were told, however we would definitely use him again.

We believe that repairs of your existing windows and doors are usually a far more cost effective answer to replacements. Kyle Cummings came to repair our flat roof. What we thought was a successful repair, which we paid £500 for 1-1½hours work, 6 weeks with little rain, first heavy rain, bedroom ceiling still leaking. Kyle came on 7th June, he said it was new leak from chimney, flashing causing rain to run down a joist, £400 paid. No cat ladder used, his mate fell down the roof onto the flat roof, damaging it on the way down, leak 10 times worse. They knew they had damaged it. Making lots of excuses not to return. Don't trust

Used GR building to re slate my roof. after 3 weeks 2 slates came off. Repeatedly rang and left messages and he finally came back to sort it out after not appearing the first date given. 3 more slates have just come off. Even taking into account the strong winds I find it unacceptable that this can happen. I will not be asking him it sort it this time as I have no confidence he will do the job correctly and have made alternative arrangements.
