The gardener turned on time on the said date. He did a good job trimming my conifer hedge. However I did ask for his contact details, which he promised he would forward the next day. So far after 2 weeks he has not done so. Therefore I will not be able to contact him for any future work.

Andrew and his team did a complete gut out, redesign and extension to our house, the work was completed a year ago but I forgot to write a review. 3 new bathrooms, new plumbing, electric, everything. The work was completed to a very high standard and he said he guaranteed it, and in the last 9 months, any issue that has come up he has come over within days and repaired anything immediately. Really pleased with these builders and I would recommend them to anyone. They turned up when they said they would, were friendly and worked quickly, they were conscientious about protecting floors etc. and cleaned up well before they left.
I have 18 years experience working for a building company that does insurance claims. And now I have been self employed for 6 years. I have public liability insurance.
Unfortunately I couldn’t recommend Neil, original quote was £160 plus materials, (1 day job) took him 6 hours to do 10% of the job and ended up asking him to leave as it was going to cost a fortune to keep him on to finish the work. Also quoted £50 - £70 for materials and then in an email quoted it £135. He seems a nice guy but the quality of work was not acceptable for the price.

Do not hire this man!! After plastering and painting a wall, he forced my massive kitchen cupboard back on his own, and in the process smashed the roof above it (debris was literally sitting on top of the cupboard he’d just moved), dented the wall he was hired to fix, AND my fridge - then denied all and claimed the damage had “already been there" when I sent photos after he left asking him to come back. THEN tried to charge me to come fix damage HE CAUSED. Left house in a mess as well. Avoid at all costs!!

We confirmed the price and scope of works in writing and he confirmed back to start and finish over the bank holiday. Our client had arranged to stay elsewhere. The day before he was due to start, he cancelled with a lame excuse. Totally left us looking very stupid and the client very upset. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.
