Great communication throughout, arrived on time and had the emulsion job done within the day, as well as stripping wallpaper and patching up a little hole previously caused by a broken blind. Excellent work and service on waterproofing a flat roof balcony, that was botched by the original installers and leaking into a room below. Although a small job compared with their commercial projects, the work was personally supervised by Robert, one of the owners who kept in touch during the work. He and his team were diligent and friendly, a pleasure to work with. Reinstating decking over the flat roof was not straight forward and they willingly put in extra time to get that right. AVOID. Job: Replace leaky leaky asbestos garage roof, replace garage door, increase roof height, board the interior and fit electrics for lighting and power points. Hired as seemed like a nice guy, was helpful during the quoting process. However job is a disaster. Waste of £4k - Garage roof leaks - Walls leak - Boarding basically thick cardboard and now soggy - Garage door won't close - Screws poking out everywhere - Unsafe for electrics Not responding to my texts or answering my calls.

Had a quote for a new gate to be installed, while here, we got discussing redoing the driveway in either resin or block paving. Nico suggested just getting it cleaned and treated for now while I decided. The result was amazing!! It looks like a brand new driveway. Highly recommend Nico, nothing was too much trouble to explain or give a demonstration. Ended up not only getting the new gate and fence, driveway cleaned, treated, sanded and sealed but also the back garden treated and cleaned. Fabulous work!

I cover both indoor and outdoor aspects of Plasteirng and have been on the trade for around 8 hi years roughly. Whenever I take on a job I do my absolutely best to be neat and tidy as I know how important is is to yourself the customer. All work undertaken is done to the highest possible standard as that’s why all my ratings but one are positive (when I injured my shoulder and had no chance to rectify) I have just come back on Rated People after a couple of years working full time for a specific contractor and have had no need to be on here in case you where wondering why the reviews are old. Collins building services is a small family run business. We take pride in all of our work. We concentrate mainly on joinery aspects of building i.e Kitchen fitting, wood flooring, door fitting etc. We do however carry out all aspects of building work.
I don't usually leave negative feedback. But in this case I have been left no option. I had the work carried out laying solid oak floors which cost me £1600. Within a very short space of time I realised the floor was lifting and gaps appearing in the floor. In the summer the floor expanded and started pushing the doors and edges. At this point I contacted the tradesman to no satasfactory outcome. I'm so annoyed I spent all this money sourced a trader through a reputable site and still the floor looks a mess

Georgian and his team did a great job clearing borders at the front and back of our house, turning over the soil and preparing areas for planting. They arrived on time, were very polite and professional, and understood exactly what I wanted before starting work. There were a few additional bits and pieces of work that I asked to be done including removal of some stumps, we agreed a price and they were able to do that at the same time.
