Contractors made arrangements to call, arrived on time, they seemed very nice & efficient; however we did not receive a quote as promised, when I queried it; he apologized saying he thought he had emailed me to say it would be late as he had broken his collarbone. Then I received a text saying he wasn't going to quote as he was off sick for 6 weeks, so unfortunately we are unable to rate his work...

Although we did not hire this company for the internal building work we asked them to quote to put up decking and a fence in the garden. This job was a complete and complicated rewire of a large old farmhouse, including various extras such as security alarm, boiler and underfloor heating controls and renovating an old Victorian lantern. Chris has done an excellent job, and even though it turned out to be more awkward than he expected (beams in unusual places, ceilings that came down, boiler wiring being non-standard etc) he honoured the original quote and took the time to make sure it was done properly. The standard of work is very good and Chris perseveres with jobs until he is satisfied with the result. An example is the great care he took with the positioning of the kitchen lights. I have no hesitation in recommending him to others.
