I was looking for a plasterer to do my son's room before painting it and so was confused when James approached me for the job. He is a decorator. He said that plastering the walls was unnecessary because my walls were "90% there". He said filling, sanding and painting them would save me money and time so I agreed to hire him. I couldn’t recommend Szilard (and his team) more highly. Very high attention to detail when painting and decorating and nothing is a problem. As well as decorating Szilard has moved sockets, light fittings, fixed shower screens, re-configured wardrobes to name but a few additional jobs that have arisen along the way. He has been back a number of times now and is punctual and tidy in his work.

Avoid Wayne from Blackwell Roofing. He quoted £380 based on photos, then came to view the job from the ground—no proper inspection. He later climbed a ladder with no safety gear, started tearing down fascia, then suddenly claimed the job was £1,600. When I asked him to stop, he became aggressive, shouting and throwing tools and wood down dangerously. I felt threatened and unsafe in my own home. Totally unprofessional, dishonest, and intimidating. Do not hire him.
