Working outside in the commercial maintenance industry I learned a huge amount about the work and all the different areas of work there are. I’ve learned the work from starting at the bottom and rising to the top, I’ve taken on more challenging roles such as being a supervisor but I always love to get involved in the work. In every job challenges can arise. Working outside in the great British weather can be a challenge in itself especially as you never know what Mother Nature is going to throw at you. Despite the various challenges we encounter our standard of work never falters and we always aim to deliver to the highest of standards. After years in employment I made the decision to become self-employed and start my own landscaping company (Garden Knights LTD). The business has thrived over the last 9 years and within those years I gained skills in landscaping, this involved decking, fencing and turfing to name a few. I decided to further my skills and undertook courses within the arboriculture. I gained a lot of experience by undertaking jobs involving chipping, driving material handlers and of course stump grinding. I’ve been stump grinding since 2017, over these 7 years I’ve gained vast experience in the field and now have a range of specialized equipment ready to deal with the smallest of stumps to the mightiest ones as well. More importantly is the need for safety, I have full knowledge of the safety needs required for each job and will always make sure the area I’m working in is safe before and after stump removal. I am fully insured with sufficient public liability insurance and I also have a waste carriers license. Luckily I love being outside, whether it be wind, rain, shine or even snow I will be there! ? I hold NPTC CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39 certificates, and land based certificates for safe operation of a wood chipper and a stump grinder. ? ?? ? NPTC Qualified. Risk Assessments and Method Statements. Public Liability Insurance £5m. I am a Registered Waste Carrier. Almost all Waste is Recycled.

Both the lads were very prompt in coming round to quote for the works and once confirmed were able to book a time convenient to me. On the day they arrived dead on time and got straight on with the job making sure I was happy at the end as well as making sure not just tue site but surrounding area was tidied up, definitely recommend.

I had initial doubts about using this website to find good tradesmen. But DIR Solutions have changed my mind. communication was excellent and they were able to complete the task and exceed my expectations. This was a very difficult task and will be calling on them regularly to do other jobs in the future. It is a pity that i am unable to post before and after photos of this job on this website. Mike came out quoted and was able to get a team together to start 3 days later, took them two days to clear a garden, rip out large tree stumps, old fence panels and posts, level the area ready for seeding, got another two days of final leveling the two gardens together, good workers, thanks Mike and Reg! Missus is happy she has her blank canvas now ready for her garden ideas.

I had a leaky gutter from poor workmanship by a previous company and I contacted Joe via Rated People. He was quick to respond with a quote and was able to fit the job in, in a reasonable time span. He worked on a really cold day replacing the defective gutter with a more suitable product. He also replace the felt on our garage roof and added decorative edgings to tidy up the look of the property. He was efficient and tidy removing all the rubbish. I would highly recommend him and use again.
